WHO IS PLA?

Alright, a bit about myself...

I am a demigod, imprisoned here on this Earth and limited to these lowest three dimensions. I unfortunately have little memory of my true heritage or of how I came to be bound here, save which I may recall in dreams.

What does a demigod look like, you ask?

My long dark hair appears as but a pale shadow of those shining locks which adorn my true body, and, horror of horrors, it frizzes!. This physical un-reality is so... so... base! Sigh.

My current height reaches a mere 5'11". How I long to be once again able to gaze down upon the stars as mere game pieces, warm, bright marbles for my play.

In freedom, my skin appears slightly above the limited visual range of humans, a sort of really dark purple, yet would look unbearably bright to this new flesh. Texture? Ah, how smooth and soft, like a cloud, yet sturdy as titanium and beautifully patterned with such as would shame Escher. And now? I find myself clad in this vile, pale, squishy beige substance. The insult! And it's even covered in tiny light hairs! How horrid.

But enough about that. Perhaps you wonder what an imprisoned deity does to amuse itself?

I collect, as a start. What do I collect? Almost anything, actually. Among the various items in my collection, one might find such diverse objects as computers, rocks, shiny metal things, comic books (it would seem that imprisoned deities are rather common here...), glassware, baseball and other non-sports cards, coins, books, and quite a bit more.

I also enjoy learning. While my true self would seem all but omniscient in this world, I have sadly been stripped of most of that erudition. So, I must dilligently seek knowledge which may help me escape this prison. I search mostly in the areas of philosophy and mathematics, and find computers invaluable in assisting my research. I therefore spend considerable amounts of time exploring various equasions and systems on the computer. If you are at all interested, you can download a few of my programs from here.

Now the topic you've all been waiting for, since almost invariably one of the first questions people ask upon learning of my divinity consists of What/Who is God, or What sort of religion does a deity have?. Unfortunately, I do not recall the exact nature of the universe in my present state (other than that one can completely express it in an equasion under half-a-page long). I do recall, however, a God does exist, and that it gets really rather pissed when beings forget about it. So, for now I just believe in That Which Created Me and hope that will do. Note that this does not preclude the possibility that I may actually exist as an incarnation of God (wouldn't want to have to smite myself when I get back, now would I?).
